Good morning and WELCOME to our new members!
Apologies for the silence on here, but since the meeting on 30th of January we have been working super hard to secure the opening of facilities and a cafe at the Pavilion next to the bowling green.
We can now confirm
🎉CAFE OPENS ON SATURDAY 6th APRIL 🎉
If you have been following the friends for a while, you will know what a huge and drawn-out process this has been.
Ahead of this 25-28th March, there is 4 volunteer clean up days (so please please come along) to overhaul the pavilion and clean up the park. These with our other upcoming dates are live in our events section.
If you can offer any help at all please drop by between 10 and 3, even if you can’t help out please stop by to say “Hi”
We could not have done any of this without the support of Didsbury East councillors, especially Kelly Simcock who has been to every single meeting, the fantastic parks team who look after our parks every single day and of course the Friends of Fog Lane Committee who care deeply about the park and the shape of its future and volunteer their time to help.
